A hair–raising fundraiser held during the month of December, Decembeard Australia encourages men to grow or challenge their beard in the final month of the year to raise awareness and much needed funds for Bowel Cancer Australia.

The National Tree Day team are firm believers that nature is not just something we visit in national parks or when on holiday - we know there are incredible native birds, insects and many other animals that visit our suburbs every day, we just need to look for and nurture them.

The Australian Human Right Commission promotes and protects human rights for all people in Australia and helps to resolve complaints about discrimination. It has awards on the 10 December each year to honour human rights heroes.
