Why are fees increasing?
Unfortunately, successive Medicare rebate freezes and below-inflation indexation mean that the Medicare rebate you receive covers a shrinking portion of the true cost of your medical care.
The small fee rise is to maintain a safe, high-quality service, employ skilled nurses and receptionists, and meet our operating expenses.
We have the latest Tyro EFTPOS technology to assist our patients with the ease of an immediate Medicare Rebate. We are able to process your Medicare rebate onsite back into your savings account at the time of consultation.
Tyro provides an end-to-end solution authorising, clearing and settling electronic payments for credit, EFTPOS and scheme debit cards as well as Medicare Easyclaim.
With Tyro EFTPOS, all transactions are processed in real time.
