World Autism Awareness Day

World Autism Understanding Month (WAUM) is a time to move beyond awareness and build practical understanding of autism. Since 2021, Aspect has marked 2 April as World Autism Understanding Day, recognising Autistic people, celebrating strengths and encouraging a shift from awareness to understanding. In 2026, this has grown into a full month, recognising that meaningful understanding takes time.
