Heart arrhythmias are categorised by the speed of the heart rate and the term arrhythmia covers a broad range of more specific conditions. Arrhythmias are responsible for between 23,000 and 33,000 sudden cardiac arrest deaths each year. Many of these deaths could be avoided with greater public awareness of their risks and symptoms.
What are the common symptoms of arrhythmias?
• Chest Pain
• Fluttering in chest
• Racing Heartbeat
• Shortness of breath, and a
• Slow Heartbeat
