Disability Pride Month

A month to take pride in who we are as individuals with a disability and not to be undermined by ableism and ignorance. The amount of time we hear issues about people not getting their right support for education and employment, to getting uneducated comments such as “You don’t need the disabled spot.” As part of the disability community, we have done a lot, but we still have a long way to go.
