Dr Russell Spinks has been a member of SPUMS, the South Pacific Underwater Medicine Society for over 25 years.
Our Diving Medical Certificates and are in accordance with the Australian Standard 4005.1.
What to expect during a Diving Medical
Diving Medicals take approximately one hour to complete.
The following lists the required examinations that are required in order to complete your dive medical:
- blood pressure assessment
- hearing assessment
- lung function test
- medical questionnaire regarding your health
- visual assessment and eye check
If required, you may also be referred for further respiratory investigations.
