Our Story

Narara Valley Medical is a quality family-orientated medical practice located in Narara on the NSW Central Coast. Established by Dr Russell Spinks in 1982, Narara Valley Medical is committed to providing comprehensive healthcare to all our patients. As a fundamental part of this commitment, our doctors, registered nurses, and reception team recognise the importance of ensuring our patients are fully informed and involved in their healthcare.

We offer our patients the opportunity to consult with male or female doctors who are skilled in a broad range of healthcare. Our doctors and registered nurses are experienced in caring for patients of all ages and in the management of acute, chronic, and complex health conditions.

All our doctors are vocationally registered and undergo quality assurance and continuing medical education as directed by the Royal Australian College of General Practioners (RACGP). We are proud of our long-standing association with Newcastle University and the Valley to Coast GP training organisation with the RACGP in providing supervision to registrars.

Our practice is accredited by the GPA after undergoing comprehensive evaluation achieving a GPA Plus rating; this means that Narara Valley Medical has achieved the highest accreditation rating for complying with the standards of general practice set by the RACGP.
